This isn’t just a tour—it’s an invitation to witness nature’s artistry and connect with the soul of Peru.
Standing in the shadow of Ausangate Mountain (6,384 meters / 20,945 feet), the sacred peak revered by local people, we will explore the 7 Lagunas Ausangate—each a gem reflecting hues of turquoise, sapphire, and emerald. From the striking Azul Cocha (“Blue Lagoon”) to smaller, hidden lagoons, every step reveals breathtaking views of high-altitude ecosystems thriving at 4,300–4,800 meters above sea level (14,100–15,750 feet).
Wander past llamas and alpacas grazing on windswept plains, and learn about unique flora and faunaadapted to this rugged terrain. Our experienced tour guides will share stories of Andean cosmology while ensuring you drink plenty of water and adjust smoothly to the high altitude. Worried about altitude sickness? We’ll pace the hike thoughtfully, blending rest with discovery.
After marveling at the Ausangate 7 lakes, we’ll unwind in Pacchanta’s soothing hot springs, a reward for your adventurous spirit. This tour isn’t just a day trip—it’s a bridge between the raw beauty of the Andes and the warmth of its communities.
While Machu Picchu captivates many, the Ausangate 7 Lagoons Full Day offers a quieter, equally profound connection to Peru’s landscapes. The best time to visit is during the dry season (May–September), when trails glow under clear skies.
Join Mugju, and we’ll craft memories where snow-capped mountains, crystalline waters, and cultural heritage collide. Let’s tread lightly, respect the land, and leave with stories worth sharing. Your Andean adventure awaits—one step, one lagoon, one heartbeat at a time.
