After a brief rest in Upis, ascend to Pamparapa for a well-earned lunch. The trail then leads you on a 3-hour climb to the Arapa Mountain Pass (4,958 m / 16,266 ft), a lofty vantage point offering sweeping views of the untamed Andean wilderness. Descend to your campsite near Puca Cocha Lake, where turquoise waters mirror the surrounding peaks. Settle into your tent, savor a hearty dinner, and unwind under a star-studded sky.
